Modular apex technology reduces the pressure on the eardrum through pneumatic interactive ventilation. LID technology maintains its sound signature regardless of the source
The 64 Audio U12t represents the universal-fit equivalent to the company’s highly praised reference custom-fit in-ear monitor, the A12t. It features a system made up of twelve balanced-armature drivers, which offers a three-dimensional high-resolution sound thanks to the proprietary tia technology and the accompanying single-bore design. The U12t also includes the modular Apex technology for a fatigue-free sound experience and adjustable ambience isolation, as well as LID for reliable sound consistency regardless of the signal source, and thus meets the high expectations of musicians, vocalists, and audiophiles. It comes with a great variety of TrueFidelity foam and silicone earpieces, each in sizes S, M and L, a detachable premium cable with a 3.5 mm mini-jack connector, two Apex modules (m20 and m15), and a carrying case.
The U12t offers a multi-layered, organic sound with clean tonal depth, accurate stereo panorama performance, rich bass response, fine-tuned mids, and transparent highs. This is achieved by the twelve BA drivers installed in each side, four of which are responsible for bass, six for the midrange, and one each for the high-mid and treble reproduction, and also by the tia system with its large opening (single bore) and frequency-forming sound chambers, which significantly reduces distortions and resonances. An integrated passive frequency crossover divides the audio signal to supply the four paths.
The modular Apex (Air Pressure Exchange) technology allows you to customise the isolation level and the sound. While the m20 (-20 dB) and m15 (-15 dB) modules included in the scope of delivery primarily ensure a great deal of ambient noise reduction and a pleasantly powerful monitor sound, the optionally available mX module provides a more open, analytical audio experience with reduced isolation (-10 dB) , moderate bass, and focused mids. Apex also ensures fatigue-free listening via pneumatic-interactive ventilation by reducing the pressure in the ear. With the U12t, professional users as well as all other discerning users get a flexibly customisable in-ear monitor.
64 Audio is a US company from Vancouver, Washington, consisting of around 70 employees and founded by Vitaliy Belonozhko, which has developed into a globally respected manufacturer of premium-quality in-ear monitoring systems. With future-oriented innovations such as tia, apex, and LID, the premium in-ear monitors included in the range outperform traditional technologies. In addition to the universal "off the shelf" in-ear monitors with foam and silicone ear tips in different sizes, 64 Audio also offers custom-made in-ear monitors, for which a new, digital process called 3D-Fit is used instead of the conventional moulding process. Many famous show stars already rely on the IEM systems from 64 Audio.
The U12t is equally suitable for monitoring on stage and in the studio. The in-ear monitor impresses not only with its high level of shielding from ambient noise, but also with its excellent sound characteristics. In addition, the so-called Apex modules allow you to customise the sound and the ambience isolation to your own needs and the place of action. The U12t is also recommended as a headset for audiophile music enjoyment and even as a portable studio monitor. The over-ear cable routing, the ergonomically designed casing, and the extensive selection of different earpieces also guarantee that the in-ears fit securely and are comfortable to wear even for hours on end.
