Adam Hall 3 STAR CD 042

I wanted an XLR cable drum but did'nt want to pay a high price, so decided to make my own. The centre section is easily removed using 3 screws and can be easily drilled using a step drill to suit whichever sockets you wish to install. This drum comfortably holds 100M of sssnake SMK 222 microphone cable which would straight off the reel onto the drum. My only minor critisiscm was the absence of a cable clamp inside the centre, even though screw loactions are provided for this. I found using two 20mm penny washers and 4mm self tapping screws was a good compromise. Otherwise, a very handy drum with lots of different bespoke uses.
