Heads up, North American customers.

Do yourself a favor and buy power strips rated for 240v. Most of your equipment is auto-switching anyway, so why build your rack with a 120v strip that prevents you from using house power when you tour the rest of the world?

I have been buying Adam Hall power strips for a few years now and am never disappointed.

Great power bar for an audio rack
Poogla 01.10.2022
I got this unit together with a 4U rack a couple of years ago. Mounted on the rear rails it provides power to 4x 1U devices + a WiFi router, all connected via short 0.5 meter IEC cables. This allows for a tidy, rattle-free, compact setup - much better than a regular power strip. Almost perfect for my needs, I just wish it included a few USB ports, even at the expense of a few power ports.

Power Button is stuck now
weezul 10.01.2024
After setting this up, the power button got stuck in the ON position. I pushed really hard on the button and it popped back to OFF. Okay, so I switch it back to ON and now it's working but it's permanently ON. I mean, that's better than permanently OFF but not ideal. What if I get to a show and it pops back to OFF and gets stuck? Aside from that, it's working fine powering a Thunderbolt Chassis, Quick Charger, Thunderbolt Dock, 3x ADA8200, and some other stuff I plug into a 4way socket. But now I have to really commit to plugging in the IEC because it is permanently ON!

Works great, I'm using this unit for connecting stage lights.

But power input could be at the other side too... It's too messy with cables on 2 sides.
