ADJ Mega TriPar Profile Plus

I recently purchased four of these and four of the more expensive 5P Hex models also by ADJ.

The difference in output is quite large but the difference in price is representative of this.

Build quality wise these seem pretty good considering they are plastic chassis and I love the ability to place them completely flat and also link the power.

They certainly have place in my light setup and if you cant budget for the more expensive model it is a good choice.

The lights really do have superb colour mixing. Some really rich colours here and the UV is a great added bonus.
The problem is its easy to over-power them, they just don't really push out enough light for a live band situation - at least not unless you are using a lot of them.

Weight and size are great, dmx in/out and power in out makes these great units - and they can be used as uplighters for colour wash outside of a rig.

Good units - just wish they had more power.
