AKG C 430

Very Compact condenser mic.
We have a clear sonic drum booth with roof and these akg c430 mics are great for that Environment. They don't take up much space and produce really good results when used close to hihats, and ride cymbals. Use slightly further away for crash cymbals but not too far away as the sound reflections from the booth panels cause problems at the sound desk.

A very good sounding microphone, I use it for hihat and percussion instruments. It works great during concerts. It is really compact. You can take it anywhere, it will fit anywhere.

These mics are an excellent entry point for those who are on a budget and want a inexpensive pair of small diaphragm condensers that will give you great value for money.

I've used them primarily as a pair of overhead mics but have also been more than happy with their performance on hi hats.

they are giving great custormer care for customers.when i purchasing items they are helping quickly via emails or over the phone...they contact us via phone when order after leaves thier warehouse.

I use this for mic'ing hi-hats, due to it's very small size I can squeeze this mic into places most other overhead mics can't get to. I only gave it 4 stars for sound, as it's not the smoothest sounding mic I've ever heard, but, saying that it is perfectly good enough for stagework. My only criticism is that it only comes with a cloth bag, which won't help the longevity of a condenser mic, so flightcase it.

I use four of these as cymbal mics, they’re very nice and discrete, small etc. They sound perfectly ok for live use. The clips aren’t as good as the old AKG ones, they’re a bit flimsy. Doesn’t really fit in the pouch easily without taking the windshield out the pouch. Mic build quality is plastic but seems just fine.
