This version of the bridge is for replacing the modern-style bridge which is found on newer Standard USA Teles. My Tele was made in 2006 and I first tried replacing the bridge with Fender's vintage style bridge, but it didn't line up correctly. However, this Joe Barden bridge fits without any additional drilling. Standard Teles have 3 screw holes at the rear end of the bridge so I have attached it using just the two outer screws. It seems to be stable without using the other screws, but maybe in the future I will secure it further. The string holes line up perfectly. Also the tone seems to be a little brighter than my previous modern-style bridge, which is nice. The cutaway for fingerpicking is a nice addition also.
All roud it's a great bridge which is a nice step up from the modern-style bridges.

Vintage bridge approximation for USA telecaster standard
mikaelpb 27.01.2019
Don?t have much experience in tele bridges but this seems pretty ok. Will see how it goes in the future. For now the sound is more twangy and the strings feel more loose which I sure like. ;)

Lovely bridge

Lovely looking bridge, compensated saddles. It's nickel chrome so has a subtle goldie hue...
