Very good entry level power supply that is definitely a must if you're using more than a couple of pedals in your chain. The box itself seems sturdy and should deliver enough power for the majority of pedals out there. LEDs on the side are a nice bonus that helps a lot in certain situations.

On the downside, selecting the variable voltages of 2 separate outputs with a pot feels a bit unreliable. However the greatest drawback in my opinion is the plastic low end power adapter and its cable supplying the DC 15V input to the Brick itself. The cable is pretty thin and it might be worth to wind a piece of tape or other form of protection around the parts of the cable subject to stress with frequent use as 15V adapters are not so common as 9 or 12V and you might find yourself in a tricky situation at the venue just before the gig. Also the hum cancelling doesn't work very well, probably due to cheap transformer inside the adapter.

All in all a great buy for the price and a no-brainer if you're struggling with multiple power adapters or daisy chaining. However if you have a little more to spend, I'd recommend a product with a standard mains power input and quality transformer.

Save money on batteries! save the planet too!

The LEDs are great on a dark stage, especially if you leave your picks on your board. It powers everything on a small board, and if you're only running analog pedals, or just want to save on batteries, this is ideal. It's really robust, will last a long time until you upgrade to a bigger board/supply.

A surprisingly good product
Etvi 04.08.2013
I bought this pedal power without great expectations since the price was very cheap. The lack of any noise produced by the power supply came as a good surprise.

Some contact problems have occurred with the DC-cables but they get solved by poking and turning the plugs a little. The switchable LED-light on the side of the brick a fairly useless feature but doesn't really bother that much. It's a good idea to chech the adjustable voltage outputs with a voltage meter before plugging in to avoid any damage to pedals.

Great for the price

Probably you are getting serious about your first pedal board, as I was when I bought the brick. I've been using it for over a year now with no problems whatsoever, which honestly comes as a bit of a surprise.

It has no on/off switch, which kind of annoys me. That is however my only qualm with the product. Otherwise, I've been pleasantly surprised!

Radio interferences

It causes interference in my medium wave radio. Not the wall wart unit, the power brick itself! Maybe it is not that important for the everyday user, but was quite strange for me.

In my pedalboard this works fine. The blue lights should be stronger, but still I get the ambience light, allthough the power brick is under the pedalboard.

Positive: It has a sturdy metal chassis, and the LED light can be usefull lighting your board. I have 6 pedals running and there is no noise at all, 6 are 9v and one on 12v. It's small, comparing to the Artec CPB-12, so might be a good solution for smaller boards.

Negative: It's limitations are not having a 18v channel and only providing ~100mA on each channel, so it's not suitable for any pedal requiring more than that. Another thing that should be improved is the power input location. It goes on the front, along with the pedal connections, and sitcks up in a right angle, instead of going on the side like in the CPB-12. That can be good or bad thing, depending on how you arrange your pedals and the placement of the power brick.
