This is a comprehensive account of the Telecaster history, but you have to bury yourself in a lot of text. The pictures show some of the early extremes and the later more rare models. Lots of pages without pictures! I would have preferred the Hal Leonard book, but this appears to be unavailable now. Update 09-2020 - Now I'm not sure if Backbeat has taken over the titles from Hal Leonard, as I have the Tube Amp Book, and that says both Hal Leonard and Backbeat books on the cover. Anyhow, I'm more grateful to Thomann for the limited edition Telecaster that I've had a few years now - Clear/translucent slightly yellow tinted lacquer (not blond and partly opaque) with the full wood grain showing clearly! - Just love it! (Apparently not available from Fender now).
