Well made quality product. Easy to bend and tailor the fit. Looks very smart and discreet unlike most harnesses. Fits easily under a suit jacket. Does have a tendency to move if you are on a more energetic gig but still by far the best strap that I have ever had. Works well for tenor and can just about get away with it for alto too if you're having to double or have a quick change however I wouldn't buy for use with alto alone.

Great strap for baritone sax
Andy YTP 10.05.2024
After a few minor adjustments, this strap now works for me on baritone, tenor and alto. It's great having one strap that works for all. Up to now have been using the JazzLab saxholder for the bari. The Balam uses the same idea of moving the weight from the neck to the shoulders, but is more stable for me and looks more like a regular strap. I bought the standard leather version, which is nicely made and folds easily. Just have to make sure the cords aren't tangled when putting on. Clips on to the sax securely. I'm medium build and I've had no issues with the strap riding up on my shoulders, there are a couple of useful videos on YouTube on how to adjust the strap for the best fit. Highly recommended for baritone players.

In Europe at last
Kostas Saxophone 06.07.2019
Was waiting for this one for some time now.
Luckily Thomann got them.
Great Back Strap. Fiddled around for a while to adjust it properly but finally with some youtube research I think I got it right.
Very comfy, even without adjustment. Takes all the pressure off the neck and any issues you have is gone. I play on 2-3 hours gigs and finally my neck pain is gone. This is not the premium model but even this one is very good.

After spending some time carefully bending it just right, I never want to use a neck strap again. Very comfortable, good quality, sax height is easily adjustable plus I think it looks pretty good :)
