Bare Knuckle Piledriver Tele Bridge

I bought this pickup to replace the stock pickup on a good telecaster copy; I wanted it to be able to deliver convincing metal tones while retaining some tele twang. This pickup does exactly that, in a very organic way. I mostly play metal in C standard with this guitar.

With high gain settings, it sounds very sharp and focused, more than a humbucker, with less low end. Riffing still sounds very fat. As you drop the gain down or turn down your volume pot it becomes more and more twangy, very tele. The clean tones are very good, as are the metal tones, and anywhere in between. Single notes on the lower strings have this awesome single coil attack while remaining very precise under distortion and not cold.

I really recommend this pickup if you want a slightly different metal tone and if you want versatility. My jamming buddy now also wants a telecaster with it in the bridge to play metal! I highly recommend this pickup.
