Really sturdy and helps your reso head to last a lot longer if you have a port in it and play a lot of shows around.
It would be nice if you could separate the two parts once you stick them together but that's not a big of a deal.

Not really what i expected...
Serhat 22.06.2013
It's a 2 piece aparatus. First you need to stick the hoop on the back side of the drum head and cut it with a razor sharp blade. You can't use scissors or anything like that, you need a blade. Then you place the chrome part from the other side but the stability is just poor. The adhesive on the parts is very poor quality. They come apart after you stick them. The hoop material is good, it also looks good; but you may need to use extra adhesive to add stability. Definitely not worth 13,50€ in my opinion...

Tricky
Joshua1988 31.03.2015
May just been me but I found it a little tricky to get to 'click' in to place. Once it was there though it seems really stable. I would certainly recommend this to other drummers looking to make their ring a little more stable ;-)

A must for miking
AlanC 15.05.2013
This 'O' ring is a must for the front head on bass drums to allow miking if playing gigs or recording in the studio. Its made of tough plastic and stops the front head from getting damaged when a microphone is placed in the bass drum + it also adds to the resonance of the drum. To cut a hole in the head, you can use the 'O' ring as a template + cut a circle SLOWLY using preferably a hobby knife !

Amazing

Really easy to install. It looks really nice with silver hardware. Protects the edge of the he if stuff things into the drum.
