Behringer 130 Dual VCA

2 separate VCAs each with 3 attenuated inputs and 3 attenuated modulation inputs. High and low outputs. Exponential / linear switch. It sounds good, has a firm response to even the harshest triggers and overall is easy to deal with. Only downside is the small knobs for attenuators. When it is patched in it is hard to reach between the cables.
Gives a fair amount of distortion if overdriven.
But for the price it is hard to match!

Bought as first vca. Shortly after found a doepfer 1-130 for cheap and bought that one also. The Behringer has a lot of features wich is nice, al though the small shaft-knobs is a bit pain to use. Still a lot of value for money, with the tripple inputs with attenuators and triple mod inputs. If you don't need a VCA to be live-friendly, but more for utility i would definitly recommend it.

the build quality feels good, the 3 rotary knobs on the mixer are quite small, might be tricky if have large hands

Like the dual vcf very ergonomic compact and functional. Neutral sounding, these days many vcas use the 2164 chip which is clean and powerful but in vca applications tend to overdrive harshly. So this one is an old fashoined design, always sounds good, 3 sig inputs with attenuation, 3 idem moulators, a big bias knob. Nothing much else to say, its all just very solid. The whole system100 range as far as I have used is very good sounding, consistent and surveyable, therefore to be used together.

Well not 100 reasons but then you wouldnt need 100 to see and hear how good this system is. The starter bundle is perfect for anyone wanting to take their first steps into modular synths, its sounds wonderful and is easy to both set up and use, recomending this system 100 a 100 times wouldnt be enough. You can use it as you prefer. It can be an audio mixer, a cv mixer or a normal VCA. No background noise. Solid built. Really good module.

This sounds great, almost impossible to tell it apart from my original System-100m 130. It overloads/distorts really nicely and for the price is amazing. The attenuators seem quite tight and being eurorack, they area little fiddly. Good quality build, and as I need more 100m, it's perfect for the price.

having multiple modulation & audio inputs each with its attenuator really brings so much in terms of sound design and modulation capabilities! it opened up a new workflow for me which is one of the best things about eurorack!

As I have said in other reviews it works well with the system. usable for other systems. Its a VCA and they are very useful. I love the mixer and the three CV ins. Also great to have linear and Exp on the unit. again amzing value for two VCAs.

A quality vca, 3 inputs for signal and modulation and attenuators for each modulation input is great, but DC coupling would have been a nice touch.
