Great value for money as always from Behringer
M-Theory Mike 12.11.2020
Use:
I use mine for vocal recording in a semi-pro studio. Speech and singing.

Pros:
Very decent price
Sturdy, solid construction
Switchable pickup modes (omnidirectional, cardioid and figure eight)
Low cut and gain reduction switches
Stand adapter and box included, which is nice
Sound quality is rich and noise free

Cons:
You need to get really close to the mic and/ or ramp the gain up on the mixer/preamp to get a decent signal. No big deal to me, but might be problematic for some
Its non-uniform shape means it doesn't fit nicely into a standard mic harness which cylindrical mics would fit into - but it comes with a stand adapter so again, not really the end of the world.

I would definitely recommend this mic to potential buyers, and have done so many times since purchasing mine a few months ago.

Reasonable budget microphone
MattA82 09.09.2020
Definitely worse microphones out there for the money. Used this as an overhead for recording drums and it is more than up to the task.
Can see this being useful for tracking vocals and acoustic guitars too.

MR
Very good within the price point but not optimal
Mario Retamal 22.08.2022
I'm always cutting 1 khz and sibilance frequencies (3-7khz) with my voice.
These last days I've been using it in figure 8 pattern to increase the body of my voice, as you know different polar patterns exhibit different frequency responses.
The self noise is the big nope for me. If you want studio quality you gonna spend a lot of time with noise reduction plugins.
I'm going to upgrade to the Rode NT1, good bye self noise and harsh frequencies.

Noisy
Wolfwolf 13.04.2021
Wanted to get a simple multipattern condenser mic for recordings. Got this mic and was disappointed, because it's unfortunately too noisy. I mean, I can record tracks or use it on podcasts, of course, but it is not enough for me.

MT
Good mic for the price
Martin T. 705 01.05.2020
This is my first studio mic. I have used it for recording vox and also for recording a room for live streaming. For the vox I used the figure of 8 config which gave some nice tracks. It is not overly sensitive which is good in my environment being in a spare room of a family home. For the streaming it worked well in omni directional and I was pleasantly suprised it seperated the left and right incoming sounds so it really recorded the room not just the sound it in if you get what I mean.
I would recommend for a beginner or budget versatile mic for a number of situations. Sound I put down to 4 as I was happy with the sound but I do not have much experience. Happy it comes in a hard case with a brass screw converter too.

It's worth its weight
Spike 350 01.04.2019
I bought this mic primarily for home studio use and after working with it for just over a week i feel that i can be a little more thorough reviewing it. The quality of this mic has surprised me, i was expecting recordings to sound thin without any warmth or richness and this isn't the case at all. It compares favourably to mics that are ten times its price, it has a weight to it that exudes quality. It can be switched to any of 3 pick up patterns, has a low cut filter switch and a -10db attenuation switch also making it fully adjustable for most situations. If there is a negative it's that it doesn't come with a spider although one can be purchased to fit it. It comes with its own moulded plastic case which will keep it clean and safe if being transported. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anything on the market that will record audio of this quality for this price.

Delighted with the clear mic!
Estie 31.07.2020
I did a lot of research into condenser mics for vocals and I was skeptical at first because of the cheap price of this mic comparatively to other models. I was DELIGHTED with it! It came in a hard case, which is handy for storage. It has 3 mic pattern settings so is versatile. It has at least as good sound as some of the expensive mics costing 10 times as much. Also even if you do own an expensive mic, get one of these as a spare because they are superb!

just get one of these, you'll use it a lot
Al 1 19.05.2019
I just bought my 3rd one of these, which is probably enough on its own. The features (especially the versatility) and sound are far above its price range. The only "con" I've found after years of using this in all sorts of situations is that it's probably not the toughest mic around, but you'll have absolutely no problems if you take care of it (I destroyed 2 of them over the years but it was my fault on both occasions).

Sometimes You Get More Than What You Pay For!

Sturdy construction, well presented and certainly better than using my live stage / gig microphones for recording.

TI
Good microphone for beginners
Tani Ilves 21.05.2022
I bought this microphone for recording audio comments to videos along with a Steinberg UR22C audio card.
There is a little lack of gain if you write the sound not close to the microphone, but with a lot of gain, a lot of noise appears. Maybe it's because of a bad cable, but I'm not sure.
The packaging and workmanship are sufficient to get you started.
I don't use the extra features much (which is why I probably should have bought the C-1), but if you need them, this mic is good.

Advantages:
- Workmanship
- Kit
- Additional functions
- Looks good
- Low price

Disadvantages:
- I hear a lot of noise on my audio card and with my cable at high gain. At low gain it sounds too quiet.

Applicability (in my opinion):
Suitable for beginners and as a backup if the main microphone suddenly breaks.
