I bought this thinking another model I had was faulty.
These things might be okay in some situations. For one instrument for example. For a live band these is too much other noises going on and it seems to just pull the life out of your performance. If you play ridiculously loud rock music maybe you like this to get more volume. If your music has subtle nuances then this thing can ruin the performance. You get a false idea of what's happening, it keeps cutting frequencies. If you have time to read the confusing manual and an hour to test the sound in every venue you play in maybe you can use it better than me. I found it disappointing.
