I have had this product for half a year as I broke the original cushion/ear pad. I have only had it for half a year and it's breaking on the inside. The foam is exposed and the comfort is not as good anymore. In the beginning it was like putting on a cloud, now it's not really comfortable as the foam is expanding in a way it wasn't supposed to.
Try and find an alternative to this solution if possible.
