beyerdynamic EDT 990 V Ear Pads

Slightly pricy for what these are, but certainly freshen up an old pair of beyers. The pads stay in good shape for approx. 2-6 months with intensive use, and I tend to switch out to new pads every 12 months when they get dirty enough not to feel too nice. Washing the pads is possible but not worth the effort (and result) given that this product exists.

These are extremely comfortable, I never have any problems with comfort on my DT-990 headphones when I've recently replaced the ear pads, even if I use them for several hours without pause. However, the ear pads seem to get worn down rather quickly. They could have been a bit cheaper considering that they lost some of the comfort after a few months, but I guess it's hard to make the ear pads so very soft and comfortable without affecting the cost and durability.
