This, added to any thumbrest of a suitable size, will make playing your instrument greatly more comfortable. If nescessary, it is easy to cut to conform differing shapes of thumb rests. Good Buy!

I definitely recommend this cleaver thumb rubber. My clarinet does not have a adjustable thumb rest key. And I always felt that it was too high. So the BG thumb-r makes it lower and more comfortable.

My daughter plays clarinet in her elementary school band. Her thumb was getting torn up and a band aid was not providing enough cushion to keep it from happening again and again. This cushion fits her clarinet well and has made all the difference. I was hoping it would last a while since you only get one per package and it has been on there for about 3 months and it is still working great.Thank you to the manufacturer for a product that alleviates pressure on the thumb, thus significantly reducing joint pain. It fits the thumbrest securely making it less likely to fall off. Playing clarinet is enjoyable again.

The size of it is 1.3 cm wide and 1.6 cm long, really small actually.
When using with English horn I can't tell much a difference using it.

This fits perfectly my Leblanc Sonata (which has a 1.6 cm diameter thumb rest) and is really helpful if you tend to get sore thumbs from longer practice sessions. Doesn't add much bulk to the thumb rest. Used for about one month and so far it looks as good as new.
