Big Fat Snare Drum Combo Pack Orginal + Donut 14"

Probably one of my best drum buys. Turned my Jade Tiger snare into a cannon! Is particularly great if you have trouble getting rid of any honky resonance frequencies. The original unit was definitely my preference over the donut but this thing really does add to your drum setup, couldn't recommend enough.

Very good quality but the trick with an old drum skin is very effective as well and sounds deeper, more electronic. There are still some overtones that you can hear with the big fat snare drum which i personally do not like.

Have never seen these before - they are brilliant! It is literally like having 3 snares at a gig when only taking one. How much they lower the pitch by is quite unbelievable! And they don't make the snare sound too much quieter either. I have used the, a fair bit and they're not even marked, so very durable too.

The small tab cut out makes switching it on and off very quick and easy - I use it when performing "I love rock 'n' roll" to very quickly have that deep power snare sound temporarily for one song!

These are great for producing that fat 70s snare sound in an instant. Also great if you want a punchy floor tom without ringing overtones.

Used for any purpose, from studio to live work. All round good bit of kit, saves having to take two snares to a gig to get different sounds.

Effectivement, comme c'est indiqué le son est très "fat", mais pas si 'big' que ça. En live, il y a une grosse perte de volume.
Le donut fonctionne assez bien, mais l'original est très très 'fat'

As a professional Drummer-teacher i find this product fantastic! The tonal range i can get with one snare drum is amazing.I highly recommend this and have only only one issue and it's that the raised plastic on the thumb cut away designed for quick removal can weaken and fall off,it's a handy feature so BFD if possible more adhesion please!Otherwise well done on a great product!

A perfect addition for sound engineers and a big fat snare sound every time.

Very usable in live drums: just throw one or both of these on the drum and enjoy the new lower pitched fat snare sound. They stay on the drum properly and don't flap around making playing impossible.

Use these ALL the time, and sometimes at the same time if Im running 2 snares or a 14" floor tom.
