It's so loud a bass, that most people won't believe their ears. But, for some batches, the electronics don't keep up with the output and either clips too early or overheats, or goes into protect mode. Ireversible protect mode demands for service. Thomann warranty was good enough to provide free return shipping for service/or replacement for mine that went into protect mode. And OMG, they sent me a brand new replacement as soon as the old one reached them. Thanks Thomann! I love them Bose Subs alot, so I also got a Sub1. Just need to be confident that they will stand the test of time....which I sure hope.
