A
Great portable busking and practice amp!
Archion 11.01.2022
Bought it in order to amplify my electric and acoustic guitar where portability is needed. Of course it doesn't sound like a 4x12 cab, but that would be quite stupid to expect. Although the power rating is only 10 wats, the speakers are pointing upwards and emphasized are the mid frequencies, so it sounds surprisingly loud.
The clean channel got quite nicely along with my distortion and drive pedals and even with the Zvex Fuzz Factory. The crunch and lead channel, not so well. At least I couldn't get good results when boosting the crunch channel with my Tubescreamer copy. Fortunately the channels mentioned have plenty of gain in tap, so you just have to use the volume knob on your guitar and not the pedal in order to manipulate the gain level.
I gave handling 4 stars mainly due to the need for some extra Bluetooth thingy to adjust the additional parameters and settings.
Many people might consider the need for AA batteries a minus and would prefer the built in battery. However the former solution has a definite advantage when the battery dies and you have no plug-in power available.
So, overall a great portable amp!

PR
The Boss.
Peter R. 438 02.06.2023
Well beyond my expectations for all peramiters.
I'm old, in my 70's and still gigging in bars & coffee shops, r & r, blues, pop, pre 2000.
Guitar, looper & harmonica.
I was frightened this machine could be too complicated for me, but, NO.
The sounds I use are natural, very clean and easy to use.
I'm astonished at the backing vocal harmony "thing" and use it on every chorus, at every gig, it's better than the real thing (only sounding when the pedal is pressed), people really notice when I "press the harmony pedal" and seem to stop to listen, it uses guitar chord input to get correct harmony, but it doesn't like harmonica!
The looper is very usable too (with pedal), seems to find where to begin & end the loop automatically.
Chorus & reverb are lush & clear & can go well beyond my needs.
Guitar sound presets are just perfect for me {magnetic p'up hollow body} , I won't ever use distortions.
line out to a bigger sound system works fine, tried it in my garden.
At 10watts, this little thing is a very powerful & clean sound right to the top, that's clean sound, right round.
Boss pedals work much better than standard pedals, one click with Boss pedals, 2 clicks older standard pedals?
I use this Thursday evenings in a local small bar. 25 to30 talking people, this little machine alone was certainly loud enough for the evening.
I prefer to stand the boss on its end, on a shelf or table, a few beer mats under the back to level it up, with its controlls looking straight at me, 3 to 4 feet high, the sound really gets out when off the floor indoors, but is designed to sit on the floor, and really delivers the sound when working on the floor out doors. Truly amaising for only ten Watts.
All told, a remarkable machine a little expensive for me (pensioner) , but fully usable for an old man (me).
I'd like this amp redesigned in a square box with speaker pole mount (top hat) in one end, but maybe it's great for buskers as is. With good quality batteries will go for 7 hours at high volume
Thomann got it here in 3 days :-) happy customer.

RO
Busking Amp
Ron O`mally 06.03.2024
I am using this Amp as a busking amp, and couldn't ask for more! good sound, very versatile for vocals and guitars.
The only downside of this amp is the lack of inputs, you can only connect up to 2 instruments: vocals + guitar or 2 guitars.

Just good, not excellent.
Tudor Verde 29.10.2024
I bought this cube because it has delay + reverb on board. But the effects are not so great. The harmony on vocals are interesting. One big advantage is portability, it's not heavy. The sound is more in the middle, you have to boost bass and treble to get something ok.
