This bundle is my first foray into ukulele playing semi-seriously. Before this I'd only ever had one made of some horrible plastic/vinyl covered pine wood that had about 10 frets. While that's an extremely low bar this bounds over it, the build quality feels as solid as my classical guitars. I have had some issues with fingering positions, the fretboard being much shorter scale than I'm used to, but it's incredibly comfortable to play, sits in the lap comfortably and is wonderfully easy to replace strings on, so far I've only needed to replace the g for a low G.
The clip on tuner is handy in a pinch, it can be a little fussy about what tone it's picking up with the higher register of the ukulele but it usually straightens out with a couple of taps.
The carry case for the Ukulele is pretty wonderful for the size and weight of the instrument it holds, having a little padding and a pretty comfy carry handle as far as my experience goes.
The songbook is in german, which, only being fluent in english I can only partially read, but it's been a nice tool for learning the language, just by having a constant source of it to work with passively. It seems fairly comprehensive for beginner songbook stuff and I'm enjoying what I've learned from it.
quick pros/cons list
PROS:
-Very study, lightweight ukulele with wonderful, mellow tone
-good carry case for said ukulele
-mostly functional clip on tuner (I've used much, MUCH worse)
-easy to restring
CONS:
-clip on tuner can be wrong by what feels like 2 semitones if hastily tuning it
-carry case doesn't have a backstrap
-uhhhh, song book is in german only?
overall adore it, for the cost of the bundle it's well worth it <3
