Ok… I was asked by Thomann to rate this product as it has no review/rating at this point.
Well, …it’s a cable. I’m going to find it hard to rave about it. Either it works and I’m unimpressed, because that’s the least I could expect, OR, it doesn’t and then I’d be raging, rather than raving.
So
Yeah, it does what it’s supposed to do. Electrons flow freely through the copper wires which are sheathed, appropriately, in a non-conductive plastic coating, as you might expect. They obviously chose the material copper, for its conductivity, and flexibility as opposed to pudding, for example. (I’m not a scientist so I *could* be wrong about pudding as a conductor, but I’m pretty sure metals are better suited for the task.)
These cables aren’t available from 3rd party manufacturers, so I guess you either need more and buy these, or your effects pedals starve for the attention they deserve (And the 9v they need)
These cables are the solution to this age old conundrum.
They are certainly more environment friendly than batteries!
Buy with confidence.
Disclaimer: you have to have a Cioks/Eventide based power supply or these cables will fail to meet your expectations. (Unless you somehow expect more from a 9v cable than I did, perhaps. For me it just had to turn up, and be what it was supposed to be.)
