I bought lot's of this cable for all sorts of connections - from short adapter cables to replacing headphone cords and signal lines for electrical sensors. This fits perfectly into the superb angled neutrik 3,5mm mini jack.
It's easy to strip with a professional automatic wirestripper, both the outer and the inner isolation. soldering is good, but don't apply heat too long or the insulators can melt (but slower than on lot's of very cheap cables). Only the synthetic strands are hard tu cut with less than ideal tools - the scissors of swiss army knives are very helpful here.
Basically all my adapter cables for non-symmetric signals use this cable to adapt to an XLR, which let's me have almost any connection I need.

very thin but very sturdy
Anonymous 02.08.2014
My old 70's headphone needed a cable replacement so I was looking for a thin cable that was flexible and sturdy. There aren't many thin cables out there so I tried this one and what can I say? I am not disappointed!
This cable has a sturdy outer material which prevents the inner cords from breaking. The inner cords are very thin, so soldering them needs a little getting used to. But really, it's not that difficult. I think this cable is much better than the original one the headphones came with. It's much more flexible and has a nice feel.
It transports the sound really well and I believe I won't have to change this cable for the next 20 years or so. I'd definitely buy this cable again!

Good quality, very narrow gauge cable
DrCheese 11.02.2023
I use a lot of thin microphone cable and unable to get my usual Mogami, I tried this. It's good quality, with a decent number of strands per conductor. It includes a cloth sheath around the two central conductors, which can be a bit of an inconvenience when working with the cable, but I guess it provides protection.

Perfect cable for patching cables
vejopatis 19.04.2024
Fine and thin wire that thickness and capacity is important. I use this wire to make low profile patch cords. Maybe it's a bit difficult to solder, but that's probably my poor soldering skills
