I have bought a number of those extensions in different lengths and even though they are of high quality and have persevered in high usage, they all have a problem in the female TRS input from the first day of use. The plug is too deep and all of my headphones need to stay 3mm out of the plug to work properly.

Headphone extension cable

I got this cable to use with my Shure SRH 840 headphones, and while the quality of the cable is nice, I sometimes lose the other channel from my headphones and have to pull back the Shure's plug just a little bit to hear both channels. This might be just a little difference in the manufacturing of two different companies and doesn't really bother me once I set it correctly.
