Okay since this is the first of it's kind, it's fxxking awesome. It's basically a 3 band EQ like the 1073 (Lo & Hi Shelf, Bell Mid) but you can set every band's frequency point. After that, whichever direction you turn the gain knob for the specific band, it saturates THAT amount which you turned. So if you cut 6 dB or boost 6 dB, you EQ that specific band but get the same amount of saturation. So it doesn't matter if you cut or boost, you turn the saturation UP on the band. It sounds GREAT on everything! Love this type of thing.

I have a pair that I use on 99.9% of the mastering projects I work on.
They offer something special that no other analogue processor does.
They live in my master bus but I've also used them to process some individual tracks on certain occasions.

For me, one of those pieces of gear I would take to a desert island.
