A
Good amplifier for a great price
AvdK 25.09.2020
For the price you get a real performer. High wattage at a good price. I have them coupled to a pair of Bowers & Wilkins CM6S2 and they sound quite good.
I previously had a NAD M22 coupled to them, and while the XLS 1502 does not sound as good as the M22, at the price point of the XLS 1502 I think it is hard to beat!

The only downside I see to it is that it does not have an auto on/of. You have to turn it on and off manually.

T
Great for home use
TheSchnitzelGuy 04.03.2019
Bought this amplifier for my Hifi setup after reading several positive forum posts from others that also have used the XLS amplifiers within their home setups. The amp has great sound quality. Fan noise and hiss are almost inaudible. Because of the .775v input sensitivity option, the amplifier can be used with normal home-grade preamps and such. I can most definitely recommend this amplifier.

S
Great amp!
Skinda0 11.02.2020
Bought one of these to drive 2 RCF S8015LP in bridge mode and it has performed this task perfectly! The weight saving is a huge plus instead of carrying round a 20+kg amp, this little 4kg one does what the old amp did and more! I am not using any of the built in crossovers but they would come in very usefull if you wanted a simple plug and play system with no need for external crossovers.
I may buy another one!

C
Excellent, as reviewed
CitizenErased 03.07.2019
Got this as a power amp for my bass cabinet. I have plenty of preamps so I chose to go modular instead of buying a bass amplifier, this way the Crown can double as a Hi-Fi amp in the future.
Love the size and weight, it's ultra portable and everything I've read in reviews so far is accurate, probably best power amp for the money.
The one con is the lack of a dedicated bridged out, which means you need to rewire your speaker cables if you intend to use this in bridged mode.
