These are very high quality strings, for sure, and the corrosion-resistant packaging is an added bonus. I wish all manufacturers used similar packaging. Unfortunately, however, the tension feels very uneven between the strings, and they make your guitar sound really dull, like someone put a blanket over the amplifier. If stereotypically lifeless old-school jazz tone is what you're after, you might enjoy these strings. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend trying Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds instead. They have a more even tension and the bottom strings are thinner to match the tone of the unwound strings better. They are less 'boomy' and cut through the mix better than the Daddarios.
