Daddario EFT17

The quality of the strings is something you'd expect from D'Addario. No flaws, whatsoever. As the specs promises, there is really reduced finger noise occurring from position change. What comes to timbre, to my ear there is too much rustle coming from wrapped EADG strings causing some imbalance with trebles B and E. I can imagine that this kind of effect can be used for something on purpose or go well with some specific types of playing or guitar models. Just not my cup of tea.

I love these and the 12s version of these strings. Super smooth and warm and not woolly at all.
Superb tone, longevity and playability.

I have tried many different strings to make the sound warmer on my guitar. I was having too much treble and harsh sound from my guitar ( back and sides maple) and by using this strings I have eliminated that problem. Very warm sounding and smooth strings. They also cut down on finger noise which is another bonus. These are not the cheapest ones out there , but in my opinion definitely worth if you are looking for a warm sound.

Bought these to reduce squeaking on my acoustics. Does that and sounds great!
