These strings really don't feel all that different from standard round wounds, however, the reduction in fret ware and the almost complete absence of string noise is incredible. I've found these last longer as well, because when wiping down the string less is left behind in the gaps between the winds of the wire. Great for use in the studio - where string noise can become a real pain.

Gives a guitar, at my case PRS SE SH Custom 22 a natural sound I was looking for. A sound of a guitar. You can hear that the piece of wood in your hands is really made of wood, not any other material with electronics!

Great if you don't like roundwounds or flatwounds

I'm a Strat player who is learning jazz and has always hated unwanted finger sounds on my strings. Not to mention flopping a slide because your finger caught too much friction on your roundwound strings. Those days are firmly behind me now that I've bought this set of strings. Thanks Thomann!

Super strings
Roy Mcavoy 09.06.2018
Love these strings. Super clear and nice sound. Feels fantastic and make no noise when sliding. If you record guitar and don't like annoying slide sounds, these are a must. Cost a little bit extra but they are more than worth it. Wish I would have known about these a long time ago but just happy that I discovered them :-)
