P
My go-to strings
Pawlik23 25.03.2021
Used them all the time. The gauge is perfect for a 25,5" scale length guitar with a half step down tuning - top strings are not as wobbly as a standard 9-42 set, but at the same time they are easy to pick when playing fast thrash metal riffs.
Never had even one of those strings break. They come in a sealed package inside the carton so they're always fresh.

Good Quality and Affordable
Anonymous 02.08.2016
A good quality product, plain and simple.

I've tested various strings by various companies over the years but suddenly I'm drawn to Daddario.

As a touring guitar tech I was turned onto these when I couldn't get hold of my 'normal' strings whilst away on tour. And since then they are pretty much all I use.

As long as you clean down your guitar and strings after a serious practice or gig there is no reason why they shouldn't last you a very long time.

Versatile enough

This combination is what I have been looking for since a while.
I always played light with a drop D; it never felt ok to me until I tried this combination. The light top allows for some good bendy leads while the regular bottom allows for good riffing!

The industry standard
Anonymous 02.04.2017
These strings are as good as they always have been.

They might not have all the bells and whistles of the newest additions to the market, but this is precisely because for decades the Daddario strings have been the industry standard, they defined what a guitar string should be. Always consistent, stable, quite long lasting and very hard to break, and all of that with a very clear tone and great feel.

I've been playing for over 20 years and these are still my strings.

good stuff
Hairy toes 05.11.2018
ive only been using Daddario for the past 15 years now and love them. this is the first time using the top super light and lower light guage strings and it really does it for me. solos are easier to play (compared to 10s) while still keeping a good tone for those power chords and lower tones. i would highly recommend.

They break easy

I prefer coated, but that's just my opinion. These only last a couple weeks though, so be advised

Nice set due to heavier bass strings
LeonardS 26.11.2019
The best of both worlds if you want the high strings to be 009-011-016 for ease of play, but do want the better bass sound of a 010-046 set, as in this set the bass strings are 026-036-046.
I use this combination on those guitars which simply sound better with this set.

Great strings
JayDawg 02.07.2023
These have been my go to strings for years. When you just put them on, they have a bit of a metallic rattle sound to them but that wears off pretty quick. If you stretch them out properly when installing, they stay in tune pretty well. I don't often break any of these strings and I don't change them that often. I have tried more expensive strings that supposedly last longer, but at some point you should change them anyway to make sure nothing breaks during a gig and they sound fresh so I don't really see the point. These are good, affordable, good sounding strings.
