I can't go without them sometimes
Adri 15.05.2013
These are very important to me, I couldn't be happier having them, I can hear everything very well, the lower frequencies are still strong, and you can hear your own breathing and voice but I'm singing backing vocals with them on and it's ok, you just have to get used to it,
I don't know if they could be used by a main vocalist or a wind instrument player, I still have to try them while playing my flute or clarinet.
I play every weekend in a small bar, the audience is really loud, there is a lot of shouting, whistling and clapping, we set our guitars really loud too in the monitor, with the plugs on I can concentrate on my solos and not be upset by sudden noises, the sound system and setting is also a bit unpredictable, but I can tell you I don't fear feedback howling any more and there is no more ear buzzing or ringing after the party!!!
They are so discreet no one notices I'm wearing them.
The only down side is that they came a bit wrinkled, and don't look sleek like in the picture, probably a bad quality check or bad storage, I noticed someone complained about it before, nevertheless they still work and feel good, but for the price I want them to be perfect.

Great ear buddies
Anonymous 04.10.2016
Wear on-stage, sound check and during rehearsals. Pretty comfortable despite I have piercing in ear channel. Damn good material - it sticks to your clothes so well that you're not afraid to lose these while aggressively headbanging :)

Though there are a couple of small drawbacks.
1. I have big ears. These protectors have 1 extra pair of plugs of a slightly different size. Though these are still a bit smaller that i would like to.
2. There's a cord to connect these plugs and hang these on your neck when not using. Though it was a real challenge to pull it on.
3. There are no replacement filters in case if you loose one.

Worth every penny, and more.

Used these for the first time in the rehearsal studio last night. The difference between these tuned earplugs and standard "bung" earplugs is apparent the moment you put them in your ears. We're a loud band at the best of times and generally the bung types muffle all the sound, these are great though. It's like a very gentle but highly effective attenuation of the sound, bringing it down to a nice comfortable level where everything is clear. It's the first time I've been able to hear people talking clearly whilst wearing earplugs.
Never mind highly recommended, all musicians should buy these.
Seriously - buy these.

Excellent earplugs

These are available under a couple of different brand names (ACS, Planet Waves, etc.) and are fantastic for giving you an attenuated but very even sound. I wear them before, during and after gigs and have no problem with conversations, etc. There is a risk of losing the filters though.

Great Quality

Bought these to replace my old ACS ones, seem to be doing the job fairly perfectly so far, I think they're reducing sound more evenly across the board instead of just killings the Highs and Lows but I may be wrong on that. Damn good product.
