It's a proper strap. There's some hard (metal?) parts sticking out which I covered with some fabric I still had... They could potentially damage the guitar so I just put it on my cheapest guitar. Other than that it's better than I expected from this fabric, it is rather nice on me. Still, leather would be a better choice for comfort, I just wanted something fancy looking as well.

Ace Stained GlassVintage Strap
Anonymous 02.02.2016
I use this strap mainly for my electric-acoustic guitar, and it does the job very good.It is very well made and fits standard strap buttons. I guess that with the higher price you could get a better one, something like Fender and Gibson leather ones, or Minotaur, but in this price range i doubt that you will find a better one. Downside could be that it is not very long(tried it on my electric) but for acoustic its just fine.

Short Strap
Craig I. 05.04.2015
Pros:
This strap looks great
It is generally good quality.
It is well worth the price.
Cons:
It is a little short.
Metal buckle strikes guitar body.
I bought this to compliment my Harley Benton E-35 VS Vintage Series. Very attractive strap which I think looks great and retro. However on the E-35 I have to have this strap fully extended to get a decent fit ad that leaves the metal buckle very close to the guitar body. It is inevitable that there is contact and I know, over time, this will damage the guitar finish. I'm not particularly bothered by that, but if you are you should consider that when purchasing these otherwise great little guitar straps.
