Over priced plastic that any great manufacturer should include with a very expensive media player. When I'm done mixing I'm covered in sweat and it's hard to pick up the cover because it's got no grips. I bought the SC5000M covers for my SC5000 because I thought the bulge in the the platter would be easier to lift off but with sweaty hands I can't grip one in each hand. How about a handle?
These are as cheap as they can be and twice the cost they should be BUT when you spend £1,055 on a media player it makes little difference. Denon should GIVE ME this because I just gave them £1,055.
Pros: Semi protects from dust and spills etc and maybe if you drop something on the player it'll keep it safe.
Cons: I had to BUY it! It's over priced! It's hard to take them off and on with sweaty hands because they're just smooth plastic. If you put them on a sofa your friend will likely sit on it and crack it.
You either buy it or get dust in a very expensive product and they know it and it's why it's over priced. Should be under £20 or also massage me as I mix.

I know its about zero-waste, but I'd love to have dedicated SC5000 deck saver without hump on the jog (cause compatibility with SC5000M). But generally speaking its good
