I recently went though a round of getting all my old gear serviced and cleaned and was amazed at the dust that had found it's way into them over the years. I keep a clean studio too, no smoking, food, drinks etc so it was eye opening for me. Since then I've bought covers for all my machines, first choice being Decksavers if they make something for the item I'm looking to protect. The Decksaver line is one of those really simple but elegant solutions that at first seems a little expensive but once you drop one of their cool looking tuff smoked plastic covers on a piece of equipment and feel how well it fits and does it's job you realize it's worth every penny.
