Unbeatable for the price and tone
markkus 03.11.2020
Really, really like this one, can go velcro when needed, reacts differently when pushed, easy to influence with volume knob on guitar. It acts nicely with my Quilter 202, in front and in send/return loop, especially there I can use gain and limiter knobs of the amp to influence the rip and stutter, combined with way I hit the strings. This thing will give you screeching highs and grumbling lows ones you get a feel for the settings. I've encountered the hiss I've seen reported by others at certain settings only when it was in front of the amp, but have not yet tested it with other drive pedals in the chain. I tested it with my tele with texas style single coil pick-ups and my j mascis squire jazzmaster (with hotter pickups than the standard Jazzmaster) and both gave great tones. The single notes are distinct and not swamped or muddy, even at higher distorted levels. If you are not looking for a specific tone, but are willing to invest some time to discover what tones are in here to inspire, for this price I feel it's worth it. Only been playing for a few hours straight after I got it this afternoon, but this feels like the best one I bought in a while..

Αmazing

It's a great versatile pedal that can do crazy fuzz sounds, but can be setup completely differently and make distortion sounds (recto especially), overdrive, light breakup, can be used as a clean -or not so clean- boost as well, all of these sounds are really good too.
Soundwise as a fuzz, it's the exact opposite of a big muff, so if you 're looking for the "smashing pumpkins" sound, this is totally wrong for it. It's great for the stoner genre or old school rock'n'roll.
Another plus is the very nice design, and the switch is very smooth and nice to press on!
Highly recommended!

Good pedal
tmsmtz 05.05.2021
I admit, I had very high expectations for this one after reading all the positive reviews. However, it is often described as being incredibly versatile for different tones, but my initial impression is that this is not entirely correct. It gets a little out of control at the higher gain settings and I am struggling a bit getting a useful lower gain tones. That said, I bought it for getting somewhere near a kyuss/early qotsa tone which it manages quite easily, especially kyuss tones, -even though my guitar and amp is not ideal for this. Lastly I would add that this pedal has its very own character, which is great!

Superb fuzz
Gorshi 25.10.2018
Great fuzz for the money! It has ability to produce so many different sounds and noises! I can highly recommend it as an experimental tool for all of us who like to looking for some queer sounds. Yeh, you can use it in ?fuzz classic? way. And I absolutely love to play all the Sabbath stuff with this effect. But the real fun begins when you put Carcosa to the limits. Your guitar will be than like bloody heavy loaded machine - sometimes with broken wheels, sometimes like a bulldozer.
