I did a project guitar, and like Bumblefoot, I put this pickup in the neck position, because of it's output, and EQ curve, raised it up like half a milimeter under the strings, and my other DiMarzio 36th Anniversary P.A.F. pickup in the bridge lowered flush to the pickguard, so that when I go to the solo, I just flick the switch on neck pickup get a boost in volume and the high notes are creamy, strong, full and they are pleasant to hear, no squelly high frequencies. I also love the Chopper T in the bridge of my Telecaster, inspired by Richie Kotzen, great pickup overall.
