DiMarzio DP793 Air Norton 7 BK

This is a very versatile pickup. I bought this pickup as I was looking to for a neck pickup that would grant me a fluid lead tone for legato runs and fat bluesy lead tones but would also give me a warm clean tone and it has a delivered. I have it, along with a Dimarzio Blaze installed in my Ibanez rg7421 and it does exactly what I wanted. In parallel this pickup also achieves a very nice spanky clean tone that is perfect for funk. The quality of the pickup is brilliant as you would expect from a company like Dimarzio. I prefer their use of molded plastic of Dimarzio's bobbins.

I use this pickup on the bridge position.
I had problems with the definition on my low strings, because i use quite thick ones (80 in drop A).
This pickup clears the low-end and makes it prfect for riffing in a drop tuning.
