After already having the PAKL265 and being very impressed with the high quality, I chose this to mount a long cymbal arm to a stand. Sturdy, chunky feel, excellent grip, easy adjustment. I can't find anything better!

I got these to use with the Millenium pads that come with the L-Rod. I connect one onto my crash stand and the other onto my hi-hat stand. there has never been an issue...A few times for smaller set ups when I had no electronics I would put the boom from other stands into this clamp and it holds perfectly
