I was in need of some particular lengths of Doepfer cables for my portable Eurorack and these fit the bill perfectly!
I have a tool/camera case converted for portable Eurorack and it is often away from my main recording interface - I have some hacked together self soldered 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch guitar cables and while they work I needed something more sturdy and less 'homebrew' to connect my portable and home rig - or - portable rig and MOTU Ultralite. These fit the bill perfectly.
These were perfect. I know some modules don't play nice with Doepfers choice of jack but personally I have not had a single issue. These are low cost and low feature - until you need that exact length and then they are just perfect!
Pros - exactly what I needed when I needed them. I haven't needed them for 7 years but I did this year and they were perfect! Good value for money. Consider also a dense patch - the Doepfer cables have a very narrow 'barrel' so you can get at your modules knobs without too much clutter. Many higher cost 'braided' cables have a lot of plastic around the shaft and can make patching two close together a mechanical strain on the jack sockets - not so with these.
Cons - Some modules dont seem to lock the jack end in fully and can lead (sic) to a feeling that the cable will fall out from the module. I don't know if this was a thing with initial Doepfer cables or with the modules themselves but I did not have an issue at all with these cables.
As soon as I need more I will be buying these cables instantly. I have a number of Doepfer cables I bought with my initial entry into Eurorack 7 years ago and not had one go bad yet. I have bought fancy, multi coloured cables from other manufacturers that arrived DOA.
Highly recommended.

Good cables for the money
Gregg Hermetech 09.04.2020
I like these patch cables because they are small and thin, easy to use and don't get as messy or difficult to manage as larger cables when you have a lot going on in a modular patch. They have been very reliable so far, but molded cables are never going to be as good as soldered ones. They are however great for the price.

So far the best eurorack cables I have found. They are durable, slim and feel nice. Reccomend!

Nice cable.

As it is with the Doepfer cables, this one is no different: good build quality, good price, nice color. The plugs are quite tiny, which might be an advantage in a dense patching session. Very long, too. Definitely worth getting.

Great quality...

But... too expensive in my opinion for a single patch cable.

Long and green
Sean D. 24.05.2013
What can I say? It's a long, 3.5 mm patch cable. Mine worked perfectly for all the months I owned it. It was a lot darker green than the picture suggests. Big deal!

Long enough!

I use these to connect between two modular racks which are placed about a meter apart. Absolutely vital for cross-patching between them. I have about five or six and they have never failed.
