The MTR 10 High Beam Medium strings from DR Strings are some brilliant sounding electric guitar strings! These strings are round wound on hexagonal cores! The quality and value of these (handmade!) strings is fantastic! What they deliver is nothing but warm, bright and fat TONE!! I would buy them again!

Bright sound, but not harsh

These strings produce a tone with a lot of overtones, especially when playing hammer-ons the strings produce very high overtones, like you would hit a small piece of steel, but the overtones are not unharmonious. Very useful for playing hammer-ons. They lasted 2 to 3 weeks until they sounded to dull for me and the high e-string stretched endless at the ballend when abused with a kahler vibrato system. Tuning stability is otherwise great! Divebombs and bends are no problem.

Great sounding

Yet another great sounding set of DR strings.
I've been using them for years and despite being more expensive than other brands and having had a couple of dodgy strings out of a fresh new packet, something I've not had with any other brand. I just keep coming back to DR strings.

Great strings, bright sound

Great strings that last a long time in sweaty hands, with the sound on the bright side. They can definitely brighten a warm sounding guitar.
