Whatever I try I get back to DR

Those strings I take for my Gibson. The tone is a bit softly then on HI BEAM.

Sustain is long even if wires are not so new and keep guitar in tune (even third string).

Amazing strings

In feel and sound, after playing for a small hour or so, these are the best. I never use any other strings.

On a sidenote: the crisp sound reminded me of a walk on a winter afternoon, where you enter that small treeless patch in the middle of the forest and are suddenly surrounded by this ring of pines while treading on the soft yet slightly hardened first snow of the year. Softly sinking the first foot into the crackling fluff, packing together what is soon to be your first hurdled projectile of this season, you feel the same physical sensation as when you were 5 years old: that is the feeling of pure blues strings.

Excellent sound!

Looking for some classic guitar tones for my Fender Telecaster Standard USA i came across these strings. Being a fan of other DR string series, i wanted to find warmer tones for this extremely bright sounding guitar. I must say i love these strings. The tone is strong, warm, rich. I was not so much disturbed with these strings being quiet hard, as i usually used heavier gauges, but perhaps it's a good thing to consider- if you want to use some bluesy string bending it's best to use some lighter gauge. As i said, not a problem if you are used of harder strings. But i put the sound before all else, so these strings deliver that brilliantly. The only thing i really don't like about them is that they break easily. I went so far to buy new bridge saddle, thinking it's the guitar's fault but the problem is still there... So all things considered i still use them and don't see a substitute between all the strings i've tried, and i really tried a lot of them.

Classic bluesy sound

Recommended for clean Strat style playing. Remains fresh a bit longer than most popular strings.
