Superb monitor controller - but don't buy from Thomann for UK use.
WonkyWabbit 18.04.2020
I love my Drawmer CMC2. It's quiet, turning the unit on and off doesn't cause any monitor noise, speaker switching is silent and the phase reversal and mono switches are great tools for helping troubleshoot problem mixes.

My only issue was that ordering mine from Thomann for use in the UK, the unit was sent with a Euro plug PSU, and a totally useless 2-pin to 3-pin plug converter that physically couldn't fit on the PSU. The Drawmer PSUs for these originally used to come with slot-in pins for a number of different countries, but I found out from Drawmer that they had stopped doing this as it was expensive and wasteful. So Thomann only have the Euro 2-pin adapter pins in their stock. The very nice Drawmer people sent me a UK set of power pins for my PSU free of charge, but Thomann really should add a warning for UK customers. So whilst I have every respect for the CMC2 itself, if you are in the UK, I'd strongly recommend buying it from a UK based store.

Bloody marvelous
Leftism 02.02.2019
Used in my studio now for a month or 2 and all I can say is this is a very nice sounding and practical monitor controller. The features are dare I say, perfect, for a music studio.
The build and price are very good, although the jack sockets on the back are a tad close together, but hey..
Ive tried a few controllers over the years, including very expensive stuff like Crane Song and very low cost Mackie stuff.. The CS was great but was a faff setting up via USB and not worth all that money, many other low cost controllers can me a liability to a professional studio.. This Drawmer is EXCELLENT and perfect for a general music making studio environment, with the Mono, Sum & Dif, Phase, Mute and switching between monitors. I have a little mono speaker connected to the Sub so you can connect 3 sets of speakers, 2 stereo and one mono.
Good work Drawmer, spot on sound, clear, full range, uncolored. Its a keeper.

Drawmer CMC2 hits the spot.
Muddy-T 05.11.2017
The CMC2 is exactly right for my modest, one room, home studio set up.

This little unit has everything I actually need;

- Two main inputs and an additional AUX input with input gain control.
- Two stereo main outputs, a mono (sub) out and a headphone output
with independent level control.
- A very smooth and accurate master volume knob.
- Mute, Dim, Mono and phase reverse switches.
- LED indicators for every function.

More importantly it has nothing I don't really need; no talk-back, no 5.1/7.1 functionality, no multiple headphone outputs and no convertors.

Built like the proverbial tank, my Neumann KH120A's love it, my AKG K612 PRO's love it.

All in all this is a big step up from my (passive) Mackie Big Knob monitor controller at a very competitive price.

Disapointed
LPM RECX 07.06.2019
After 3 months of slight use in studio main knob became scratchy. All coonectors on the back seem to be held only by pcb soldering this caused signal lost or volume drops while working. Then you have to put preassure on each of them findind which one is not making a contact or so. AH yes, when volume is fully counter clockwise it still elt the volume to pass and it is pretty audible. Expected mroe from Drawmer...
