Good vibrato, no drilling
Mark1967 06.01.2020
This is a great solution for adding a vibrato to a guitar without having to drill holes in it. I installed on a Gibson SG with no problem, although the pick guard partially sits underneath. To be clear, this is a vibrato system similar to a Bigsby -- don't expect to dive bomb. With that limitation in mind, you should be satisfied, as I am.

Excellent, à condition...
Tesph 13.09.2022

Nice upgrade for my Epiphone Les Paul
BabyGenius 26.01.2020
Bought this trem for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard and installation was peanuts. A very sturdy and esthetically pleasing device that allows you to add nice tremelo to your Les Paul sound. I've read in several other reviews that tuning stabilty might be an issue if you don't install a roller bridge, but I haven't had any problems with that. I did put some Big Bends Nut Sauce on the nut and bridge though, which helps. Two things that you might want to consider before buying: it does add a bit of weight to your Les Paul and I suspect that the sustain is a bit less in comparison to the original tailpiece. But all in all, a nice upgrade to my Epi.

Bigsby feel without the bucks
Tim6819 28.02.2017
I bought one of these trems to fit to my Les Paul - I mainly play Fenders and have got very used to having a tremolo arm for modulating chords etc as part of my "style". The idea of having a tremolo system on the Les Paul appealed massively, but the thought of drilling holes in the top to fit a Bigsby didn't.
Also Bigsby trems are very expensive and are quite heavy. I have a back injury which means I need to be very careful about the weight of guitars and adding a Bigsby to a Les Paul may make the combination unworkable.
Fitting is so easy - literally it took me five minutes to take the tailpiece off and screw this into place with the supplied fixings. I strung it up and it worked quite well out of the box.
A couple of things to mention though: the nut on my guitar was fine with a fixed bridge but caused some tuning problems until it was sorted. The arm doesn't swing away easily, which means it can get in the way of playing.
Its a great, cheap alternative to a Bigsby.

Good retrofit stop bar trem
Tark 07.09.2018
The Les Trem is a well made product. I fitted it to an ES335 for a customer. It works well and tuning seems stable although on a Gibson guitar close attention must be paid to the slotting and lubrication of the nut. The Les Trem requires a very precise spacing on the stop bar bolts, I had to elongate the holes in the base plate by about 1mm, which unfortunately meant filing through the nickle plating. The spring housing is very close to the high E side of the bridge which some players might find annoying. The arm is designed to be locked in place with two grub screws. There is no provision for quick removal, although the guitar does seem to fit inside the Gibson case with the arm in place.

Duesenberg Les Trem II

Real easy to install.
Ergonomic design, easy adjustable and the sound you want.
I like that it 'floats'above the sound board and there is no damage whatsoever to the original guitar.
