Huge Frets!
Graham George 16.04.2015
Thanks once again to Thomann for great service and quality packing. A box of goodies arrived safely in the post - Germany to Spain in just 4 days from day of ordering to delivery at the door!

The 6000 is the Dunlop monster fret rightly described in the description above.
I've got them on another guitar, which I wanted a lot of flexibility to fret level without losing too much of the fret wire height. These are just ideal for a project like that.

Both chunky and high, they are a dream to play. For bending, the height of these frets sets the string high enough above the fretboard for your fingers to push the string from slightly below/under - thus avoiding contact of the string on the fretboard.
Bending becomes effortless with high frets - another reason I like this product!

My previous project was also a flat fingerboard, so these unbent frets are perfect!

If you're installing them as curved frets, they're easily bent to shape but strong enough to give a lot of wear too!

For added safety I drop a tiny drop of epoxy resin, (you could use super glue), at the ends.

Big frets!
Marcus6774 23.07.2014
These frets are so big (and tall) that it's almost like playing on a scalloped fretboard.

Relatively easy to install these with just a plastic/rubber hammer and some super glue. Although, it would have been even more easy if they were not pre-cut, because they have to be bent to the correct radius to fit your fretboard. That can be tricky without professional fret bending tools, but after a few tries I managed to bend them with just my fingers. No significant issues there.

Fret leveling was a breeze since there's so much material to work with.
