I?ve been using Dunlop JP signature Jazz III picks for quite some time, having found they enable a very smooth string to string transition, particularly with legato picking, due to the pick material, shape and beveled edges.
The only thing I personally didn?t like was I found the 1.5 mm gauge a bit too thick for the strings I was using, and didn?t have enough precision, snap and pick attack, especially when playing fast alternate picking lines.
The flow picks are slightly more pointy ended, but very similar profile and edges, and have the advantage of coming in various gauges.
I found the 0.88 ideal for lighter (0.09-.42) string gauge.
