Amazing picks.
Mamops 25.06.2019
My first encounter with these picks were at a live concert. The guitarist of the band threw his pick to the crowd and I happened to catch it.It's been 2 years and I've yet to switch to a different pick style. Normal picks I was okay with, but I always thought they were too big, especially for speed and precision (just my opinion), so I changed to Jazz III and guess what, they were too small. If you feel the same you should definately try these picks out. If not , why not go for it anyway? They are not that big of an investment after all!

XL Jazz III

I bought these on a whim as they are not usually my pick of choice, however when I tried them it became apparent that they do not wear as quickly as other delrin/tortex picks and they have a slightly clearer attack. They have good grip thanks to the imprinted logos and I find they have a smooth release over the strings, I usually use these for playing bass but found them great for playing guitar too and they are fantastic for pinched harmonics on the guitar. My only problems with these picks is the way they are rated by dunlop as either "Red" or "Stiffo" with no particular size specified, but for the quality and playability these picks provide I am sure I can overlook this minor detail.

Ik speel enkel met deze plectrums
Niels VE 25.01.2024

The must have plectrum
Jimi4482 14.01.2021
They are the best guitar picks for playing lead guitar. It's thick, it cuts easily through the strings, it can be used with the rounded edge, It lasts forever. It's the only pick I use when playing electric guitar even when strumming. I don't use it much on an acoustic guitar. A lighter gauge, I think is more suitable for strumming in an acoustic.

I don't like these picks much.
In comparison to Ultex or Tortex these Nylon picks don't last as long, you can throw them out after a few hours of playing. They aren't very stiff which means if you need to do some fast down picking you can lose control with these. They also sound a bit dull, although some might call it warm.

These are just not for me.

alright

When it comes to picks for me I look for strength flex grip
I wasn't overly impressed with this pick especially when a lot of guitarists I have watched on youtube go on about them about being the best picks they have ever used,

For me Dunlop makes far better picks then the jazz like
(Dunlop Tortex Standard 1,14) a much nicer pick in my opinion.

Now this pick does come with a pro as they are slightly more pointer you do get less resistant from the strings which help with your solo runs. and the aren't as small as the earlier generation of the jazz picks

I can gig with these picks but if I had the choice to use another pick during the gig like the Tortex I would pick the Tortex hands down.

Good I guess?
Atadam 16.06.2020
Well I can provide a comparison at least since I was previously using max grip of Dunlop. Grip is good and doesn't hurt your skin like max grip does.
Smaller than max grip which kind of improved sting changing speed.
I like it. :D

great tho black stiffo better
repo251 18.09.2018
yes these are good and all the XL are better than the smaller jazz iii size but they don't perform as well as the black stiffs which are the best low price pick i've ever used.

as i said before, i bevel one direction each side and tho it's good, the stiffos really project at speed!

Excellent heavy gauge pics.
RichardH59 22.06.2018
As a bassist I normally pluck with my right hand fingers. However, I wanted to introduce some variation to my playing, so now use a pic for some songs. These plectrums offer a secure, wide, grip area and are solid enough to produce a strong tone from the bass.

I also use them with an eight string bass (i.e. 4 courses of two strings) and acoustic twelve string guitars. For me, a plectrum is essential in getting a good sound from both instruments. In the case of the acoustic twelve, the improvement in tone over a thinner pick is substantial!
