Bought these picks to try-out, because i don't like max-grip, and thought they're more inline with the size of the Jaz III.
These picks are very large, above average. Being almost flat, with no texture, will probabbly slide on sweaty fingers.
In short they're too big and too flat for me, it's hard to be fast on these.
For reference, I ended buying a variety pack to try-out more picks, and ended liking the Flow 1.5 and 2.0 also from Dunlop

A bit pricey

Yeah I know it's a signature pick. It has grooves on it so grip is improved but I'd say it's more of a novelty item considering the price tag.

Bought these picks with a new guitar (as you do) and they are great, just i prefer a smaller pick.

A very nice surprise
Matsos 23.04.2019
I've been using Jazz III XL (red and black) for almost as long as I can remember. I went looking for something that would force me to play even a little more precise and that would have better attack than the Jazz III XL. I put aside my prejudice (looking purely at this pick's characteristics) and tried them out. It took me a couple of minutes to get used to them and now I'm sold. And they 'hold an edge' really well. Found my new pick.

Grippy but very thick
Rick A 17.10.2022
I find nylon better than plastic because it tends to be easier to keep a hold of, especially when it's warm and your hands begin to sweat. These are good quality in terms of the finish, and allow for a good grip. The only problem is they are a little on the thick side for my personal taste. Recommended if you want a thicker pick with good grippiness.
