Excellent for soloing

Very good hard picks, which are excellent for soloing.
This is the small version. I ordered the wrong one and prefer to play with the XL version.
They wear out less quickly than Stubby's, but they don't last forever either. If played every day, the handy sharp point disappears after a month or 2, which makes them less useful to me. To use as a practice pick, one can easily make a point with sandpaper, but that reduces the grip.
All in all, that's the pick (the XL version that is), which I always play with (electrically, that is, because for acoustic guitar they lack a bit of clarity).

Excellent Jazz III variant

I'm happy that Dunlop are doing so many alternative Jazz IIIs as the originals are good but always felt slightly too small and could benefit from harder plastic. These are made from harder plastic than the originals and white jumbos and as such have a sharper attack and more grip.

Definitely recommeneded to try for speed pickers who need more surface than the originals.

My personal prwference would be to have these in a slightly thicker version like 1.4mm but they are almost perfect as is.

great! but not for me

This is a really top quality pick - no mistake! I think the jazz 3 is a great design. I think I'm just not a fan of the ultex material. I prefer tortex or nylon. However, my preferences change all the time - I am very fickle. I would recommend people to try as many different picks as possible. I guess I don't like the hardness of ultex. I like the over-sized jazz 3s. But the quest for the right pick will probably never end. These do give great clear tone and a bright attack. The enable fast playing for sure.

solid and versatile

I'm a fan of Dunlop Ultex Sharp Players Picks 1.14, and when I noticed the Ultex series comes with the Jazz 3 design, I immediately placed the order and it's completely met my requirement, I am happy with the purchase.

Comfortable, last long, sweet sound. Personally I tend to prefer smaller picks, though..

I use the standard red ones.
I tried these ones but they fon't work for me. Back to the red ones.

One of the best pics

Good for both electric guitar and electric bass. Really a good feel for the strings. The ultex is really durableand the color helps to find it on a dark floor if you drop it

Pretty much the same as the classic Jazz II. The grip is a little better on this model. Other than that it's a good sturdy pick that will never brake.
