Nice picks for accurate picking
antonl1911 30.05.2018
Got these picks after a recommendation from a guitar teacher. And they do not disappoint: the grip is good, the end of the pick is sharp. Note that if you are playing unplugged, this pick makes a "scratchy" sound. Also this 0.73 thickness is perfect for playing heavier types of music: rock, hard-rock, metal. I was user of Ibanez PG picks, they are a bit thicker. These picks are on par with them, but cost less per pick.
Pros: inexpensive, good grip, sharp tip
Cons: scratchy sound if it bothers you

Overall: normal sized pick with Jazz III precision.

I love this picks!

After spending many years playing exclusively with hard or very hard picks, I've come down to smaller gauges because I've found hard picks too stiff (duh!) when playing funk or funky licks. So I slowly went down with the pick gauge until I found the right balance at .73 millimetres. I'd love it if Dunlop made it with a coarser finish, so the grip would be better even over time, but it is what it is.

Not a lot that needs to be said about these. A tortex pick with a sharp tip. I found the tips wear down relatively quick if you're playing a lot. It's not technically much quicker than the regular tortex picks, it's just more noticeable which shouldn't really be too much of a surprise.

All in all I still prefer these over the regular shape because of the sharper attack.

New favorite pick

So I previously used Fender Rock On's in .73 which were great but the III's were fantastic, colour matched my strap and the grip was spot on and the amount I got for the price was also fantastic.

I have now got the other guitarist in my band using them so I think I would have to buy some more, also need more for myself as people keep asking for them signed.

Fantastic work from Dunlop on these picks as per usual, now just need to work out if my band can get big enough for them to make some customs.

Best picks for live/practice use
tomux 17.10.2022
They have just enough thickness to them to sound tight, but slim enough not to put the string out of tune. Great both for riffing and shredding.

Nice picks for a metalhead. The only issue is that paint comes off easily and makes your fingers dirty.

Nice picks Tortex III
Daniel Ludgero 28.12.2014
Very good picks. I have the 0.88 and bought these to complete the 0.88, are excellent, are quite good even for rhythm and solos, advise everyoneThe best of this type of blade is very sharp tip, helps a lot in solos and some notes.

Sharp peak is excellent for single note picking, not much else to say it's a Plectrum.
