Great heavy pick for heavy picking
Conrad1988 02.10.2018
If you are looking for a pick that sits firmly in your hand and can give you a heavy sound, then this is the pick for you.

I've been using these picks for a long time now. To give some context, I tend to pick really hard, but also play softly with a lot of dynamics and I prefer it all to come from my hands. So naturally I prefer picks that do not flex. These picks do not flex, which is perfect.

Another plus is the fact it has 3 sides. Not only will 1 pick last you longer, the bigger surface area helps you keep a very tight grip on it, thus have more control. The surface grip is great, even if you sweat a lot.

Great picks, nice tone, excellent grip

Truly Tremendous Triangles
Alex_Himself 09.09.2021
This model of pick has been with me for over 10 years. Most tragically, it has been extinct among the pick fauna of my country's small town shops. I'm happily overdosing in a ton of these. Thick enough for playing fast, sturdy, grippy and won't slide, and overal very balanced. If you like the triangle shape, this is for you.

A very nice change
Patrick M 29.10.2015
Thought I'd give a different shape a go. I am a bassist that focuses on finger playing, but use plectrums for some more aggressive tracks. Have used small jazz picks and thought I'd give something larger a go.

Turns out I prefer these for guitar over bass (though thinner). They have a LOT of grip; I can't envisage dropping these ever, and their size feels it would be more forgiving of slips than smaller plectrums.

They're a little tricky to move around quickly when playing aggressively, which is why I will be sticking with my jazz picks on bass - but if you haven't tried these before I strongly advise giving them a go.

B
not too satisfied
Bram7 27.06.2018
I wasn't too satisfied by these picks. Although they do what they're supposed to, they slip around in my fingers way too much and also aren't very long lasting. If your hands don't get too sweaty, they might work for you, but they're not cutting it for me. The search for the ultimate pick continues.

Pick of the month

For some unknown reason, this is the thickness that I need in my rock band. I tried all the other gauges and keep falling to these.

Optimal for Bass
Anonymous 13.09.2014
I use pick for a electic five String Bass. As a five String Bass has a very high tension a very thick pick is needed. The thickness of this pick is enough for a five string bass. I have big hands and need a big pick. This pick is bigger than the standard dunlop pick I used and fits my big hand perfectly. The only thing I not 100% satisfied is the grip of this pick as the surface is totally smooth. I use this pick now for 3 years and order those again and again. I am very happy with this pick and advice it to every bass player that has bigger hands and needs a solid pick.

Favorite for Rock Bass
MikeCrossJung 12.01.2020
The size and angle of the cut feels and sounds great for bass strings' size and spacing. Compared to other heavy picks, the sound is balanced with a clear punch and not overly bassy. Personally I find this shape of pick awkward on guitar. All the same this is my favorite for bass after trying dozens of different picks.

The standard triangle, classic tortex tone in a variety of gauges, can't go wrong with these!!
Especially useful for bass and acoustic guitar strummers :-)

Sturdy Reliable Bass Pick
Discohenge 18.06.2022
I've been using this exact pick playing bass for years now. Very good attack on the strings, they're pretty durable so they won't wear away to stubs all that quick.
Good grip on them too which combined with their size, lessens the chances of dropping it. I highly recommend it to my fellow clammy hands musicians.
